Judson Morgan | Founder & CEO
Judson Morgan is an award-winning filmmaker and entrepreneur. After earning his MFA, performing in the original Broadway production of The Graduate, and writing and directing an acclaimed film distributed by Netflix, he founded Butter to address the inefficiencies he experienced in the Hollywood system.
As a seasoned storyteller and team leader, Judson has founded six successful companies, generating over $100 million in revenue with a lucrative exit to private equity. With deep experience on both the agency and brand side, he brings unparalleled insight and expertise to Butter and it's clients.

Justin Allen | President
A seasoned Los Angeles transplant, Justin Allen has been immersed in film and television for over two decades. He began his career in front of the camera as a commercial actor, selling products you didn’t know you needed, before transitioning behind the Camera. To working with Don Draper and Roger Sterling on the production staff of Mad Men for 4 seasons.
Following his time on Mad Men, Justin joined Middle Man Productions, actor Zachary Levi’s company, developing film and TV projects under an overall deal with Universal Television. During this tenure, he produced critically acclaimed films, including Winter Light, an Oscar contender, and Ultrasound, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.
In 2019, Justin founded Broad St Media, where he has since directed over 40 commercials for brands such as Best Buy, Wonder Bread, Shelter Insurance, Swyft Filings, and Sunbrella.
Outside of work, Justin is an avid rock concert photographer, capturing the magic of bands like Susto, Band of Horses, Drew Holcomb, The All-American Rejects, Niko Moon, and Mt. Joy.

Ashley Williams Allen | Head of Production
Ashley Williams Allen is a seasoned film and television producer, currently serving as the Head of Production and Operations for Butter. With nearly two decades of experience in the entertainment industry, Ashley has built a reputation for delivering exceptional content and managing high-caliber productions.
Previously, Ashley was the Executive Producer and Showrunner for Magnolia Network’s highly successful series Happy to be Home. Her career includes producing for major networks such as ABC, NBC, FOX, and CBS, contributing to some of the industry’s most iconic and highest-rated series, including America’s Got Talent, The Bachelor, Dancing with the Stars, and Hell’s Kitchen.
Ashley’s expertise lies in crafting compelling television experiences, fostering creative teams, and overseeing operations that bring ambitious projects to life.

Joel Livengood | Head of Post Production
Joel Livengood is an award winning filmmaker and visual effects artist with nearly a decade of industry experience. A Huntington University graduate with a degree in Film Production, Joel served in Los Angeles as a Director of Photography and short film Director. For the past 7 years, he has been a cornerstone at Butter, serving as a filmmaker and, more recently, as Post Production Manager. Joel’s expertise extends to visual effects, where he has contributed to film and TV projects for over 3 years, working for TV networks including HBO, Netlix and Hulu.

From concept development to post-production, Brennan delivers polished, engaging content that resonates with audiences. His commitment to quality and innovation makes him a trusted partner for brands and productions looking to elevate their storytelling.
